These days, prices from Halifax to Western Canada rarely seem to dip too much below $700 roundtrip after taxes, especially for summer travel.
However there seems to be a few freak fares in late June and early July in the Air Canada system that are going for nearly 40% less. True discounts (not the marketing nonsense from Westjet/AC/Porter) on flights within Canada are extremely rare so I get pretty excited when I see them.

I'm pretty sure this is the cheapest flight ever found from Halifax to Florida. If you think there's ever been a cheaper one after taxes, please let me know.

There are some insane last minute deals through AirCanadaVacations.com going on right now - There's a flight from Toronto to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands for $116 roundtrip after taxes!!
(If you live in Montreal, Ottawa, or Halifax, substitute your departure city for 'Toronto' in this post. Prices may vary slightly compared to departing from Toronto, or in the case of Halifax, more than slightly. Also note that in many cases an overnight stay in Toronto may be required from other departure cities).

AirCanadaVacations just dropped some of their flights to Turks & Caicos down to $258 roundtrip after taxes. That's about 57% cheaper than the usual cheapest price ($600ish).

Thomas Cook is offering a crazy last minute price on a flight to Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ). I have a feeling it won't last too long.
IcelandAir just made an unadvertised drop on their flights to Reykjavík, Iceland for June 2012 departures.

Cheap flights to Europe from Halifax can be tough to come by, they usually bottom out at $1000-$1100ish roundtrip, after taxes.

Flights from Halifax to Phoenix just experienced an unadvertised fare drop on United. It looks to have affected their entire schedule, even up to throughout 2012.
There's even one over Christmas, making it about 65% cheaper than the next cheapest flights!
